A decentralised, real-time map of Network School's working infrastructure. No ops ticket. No central source of truth. The plugs work because we say they work.

Simulated for the demo. Real data starts when the first sticker goes up.

How it works

  1. Walk up to a desk.Anywhere on campus.
  2. Scan the sticker.Every outlet has a QR. No app install. No login.
  3. Tap ✓ or ✗.That's it. The next member sees it in under a second.

Why decentralised

NS doesn't run this. We do.

Every report comes from a member who actually sat at the spot. There is no central database of truth — the truth is whatever the last person who plugged in said it was.

It's the first member-owned utility at Network School. Plugs and wifi today. Printers, AC, coffee, kitchen tomorrow. A network state runs on its own infrastructure.

Field reports · what members notice

Plugs and wifi are the start. The bigger prize is everything members spot from the inside that the ops team can't see from a desk. Every report links to a fix, a saving, or a stop-doing.

The gym tent is fighting itself.
energy · gym
The gym is a single-layer tent. Heat from outside conducts straight through the fabric, the AC pumps that same heat back out, and the cycle runs all day. The unit is doing real work — none of it net useful. Three structural fixes, in order of effort: reflective outer layer (cheapest, blocks the radiant gain), second inner layer (adds an air buffer, halves the conductive transfer), proper insulation between them (the version that actually solves it). Operational tweaks won't touch this — it's a building-envelope problem.
· seed report Est. saving: 40–60% of gym AC load
Co-working B wifi drops at 14:00 daily.
network · co-working b
Same dead-spot, same hour, every day. Probably interference from the conference room AP next door switching channels. One config change away.
· simulated Est. saving: 30 member-hours / week
Coffee machine descale overdue, 6 weeks.
facilities · cafe
Throughput is half what it was in March. Members give up and walk to the lobby coffee. Easy maintenance ticket, no one filed it because no one's job.
· simulated Est. saving: small but visible
See something? Bills, bottlenecks, broken stuff. The smaller the observation, the better.
